Queen Of The Point Returns to Ventura for an Exciting Weekend of Women’s Longboard Surfing
VENTURA, CA – Queen Of The Point (QOTP), the premier all-women’s longboard surfing competition series, is thrilled to announce its return to Ventura for the second annual event. The competition is set to take place in The Cove at California St, also known as C. St, from October 27th to 29th, 2023.
Since its inception in 2022, QOTP has been dedicated to providing a platform for women in the sport of surfing. The series has grown significantly over the past year, fostering a sense of community, camaraderie, and mutual respect among participants and spectators alike. The upcoming event in Ventura promises to continue this tradition, showcasing the talent and spirit of female surfers of all ages and abilities.
Some important things to remember:
- Early registration for the event will be available to QOTP 2023 Series members starting Monday, July 10th at 8a PST.
- Registration for all will begin on Monday, August 7th at 8a PST.
- Participants are encouraged to sign up early, as there are only 12 spots per amateur division and the current 2023 QOTP Series Top 24 will be given first priority to enter the Pro division.
- Amateur divisions will run in the usual round robin format and Pro division athletes will see a Round 1 non-elimination situation.
- Please note that participants will only be allowed to surf in one division.

The competition weekend will kick off with an opening party at the Traveler Surf Club in Ventura, offering attendees a chance to meet the competitors, enjoy live music, and immerse themselves in the vibrant surf culture. The party is just the beginning of a weekend filled with thrilling competition and fun activities that are currently in the planning phase.
